Demonstration kit Electrostatics

The kit allows to carry out a series of interesting, partly historical, experiments on electrostatics. Most parts are equipped with a 4 mm plug to mount them easily exchangeable on an insulated stand. For connections to the charge source plug leads or the included metal chains can be used.

experiments
  • 1 - Force action between charged bodies

experiment "Force action between charged bodies"

In this experiment, the students investigate the force effect between two charged bodies.

  • 2 - Brush electroscope

    experiment "Brush electroscope"

In this experiment, a tissue paper screen is charged on the rod.

  • 3 - Peak discharge

    experiment "Peak discharge"

In this experiment, a tip wheel is placed on a needle and connected to a charge source using a connecting chain.

  • 4 - Electric chimes

    experiment "Electric chimes"

In this experiment, a chime is connected to a connecting chain at the charge source.

  • 5 - Electrostatic ball-run connected to an influence machine

experiment "Electrostatic ball-run connected to an influence machine"

In this experiment, a ball is repelled from the electrode of the same name and attracted to the electrode of the opposite polarity with the aid of the influence machine by means of absorbed and stored charge quantities.

  • 6 - Electric dance

    experiment "Electric dance"

In this experiment, a ball electrode is used to make pieces of elderberry pulp dance in plastic cups.

  • 7 - Electrostatic filter (smoke consumer)

    experiment "Electrostatic filter (smoke consumer)"

In this experiment, a tip electrode in the plastic cup is filled with smoke and connected to the charge source with a connecting chain.

  • 8 - Electrostatic ball-run connected to a stand mount

experiment "Electrostatic ball-run connected to a stand mount"

In this experiment, a ball is repelled from the electrode of the same name and attracted to the electrode of the opposite polarity with the aid of a high-voltage source through absorbed and stored charge quantities.

  • 9 - Lightning board

    experiment "Lightning board"

In this experiment, a lightning panel is connected to a charge source using connecting chains.
